TREES AND BIRDS
I think God made the oak tree
That little birds might rest
Among its sheltering branches
And build aloft their nests.
In dashing rain or wintry wind
Its green leaves softly fold
About their tiny little forms
And shield them from the cold.
I'm glad the Father gives to us
Rich blessings from above,
Like big oak trees and little birds
To prove to us His love
