2008 Reunion Plans

It’s that time of year again. The Calder/Caulder Reunion is coming up once again, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone. This year, we will once again be at the Concho Bass Club in San Angelo. The official dates are Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22. Undoubtedly, there will be people around on Friday night as well, for dinner at a local restaurant. There are plenty of hotels in San Angelo, though booking early is always recommended.

As always, please try to bring some type of food to share with everyone. We’ll be supplying drinks, paper goods, and sandwich makings for lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and meat for Saturday’s dinner.

So that everyone has time to socialize and no one’s day is monopolized with work, please be prepared to help out. People will be needed to set up the hall, organize the meals, cook the meat, and clean up.

We do need to cover our costs for the weekend, and the most reliable fundraiser has been the raffle. Please consider bringing something meaningful, something funny, something special, and most of all, something that will make people buy tickets! We’re not looking for a LOT of stuff; we’re looking for GOOD stuff... so that the raffle can be fairly quick and enjoyable.

Bring your family. Bring food. Bring a camera. Bring games. Bring yourself... have fun... relax... and enjoy spending time with your family.

Questions? Concerns? Ideas? Other stuff? Call me at 240-643-5718 or email me at info@shiteatinggrin.net.

Daddy Would sit on the porch and drink beer and make sure we didn’t argue with each other. We would play till it was too dark to see anything.
